The Art of Coffee Making
Kaldi an ethiopian goatherder, watched in amazement when his
flock nibbled on the bright red berries of a certain bush - they
turned into dancing goats! Kaldi chewed the berries himself and his exhilaration prompted him to
take the berries to a holy man in a nearby monastery. This holy man
disapproved of their use and threw the berries into a fire which
caused an enticing aroma. The roasted beans were then raked from the embers ground up and
dissolved in hot water to produce history's first cup of coffee.
